Recap for Fate of the Shadow:Winnipeg for June 22, 2024.

The team meets up to do their mission which is to discover who Jay Gatsby is? A mysterious and wealthy figure who showed up in Winnipeg, being exactly like the fictional character of Jay Gatsby from the Great Gatsby.
From previous sessions, the team has collected clues and developed theories on who Jay Gatsby is? The clue they found was a hidden picture, showing Gatsby as a normal, wealthy man with family. Could Gatsby be merely a trillionaire who wanted to be Gatsby from the novel and came to reality-shifted Winnipeg? Or is it something weirder, like he is Yama King, as Buckshot has speculated, going by no evidence whatsoever.
The team has contacted this Gatsby and he has offered them a mission, which they accept, coming to his party. This takes up most of the session.
First off, the team gets into an argument with the front door guards about Jinx coming in with a battle guitar. She is able to trick the guards by playing a heavy metal song.
When they enter the party, Buckshot meets up with a mysterious old woman, who is Calon Arang, Prime Minister of Indonesia and Avatara of the Black Magic Goddess Rangda Durga. Calon Arang is fascinated by Buckshot and Buckshot is weary of her, yet asks for advice from him becoming an agent of chaos. She doesn't have any good advice for him. The meeting ends up going as well as you suspect.
Meanwhile, Myco buys a listening device and places it inside a bedroom in the Gatsby mansion. He gets a mysterious call from a person who says he is a servant of Gatsby and that Gatsby is playing a dangerous game. The caller tells Myco where to meet up with him in the mansion.
Jinx, who is with Buckshot, gives a performance for Calon Arang's Leyaks, and Kiyoshi, not a Leyak but with them, asks if Jinx and he can make out. Cyberdemon who is also there wants to join in too. Jinx agrees if they act like dogs for her, which they do. Masaki, Kiyoshi's wife, wants to watch, Li Li also asks if she can watch too, which she can. All of them enter the bedroom where Myco planted the listening device . . . He gets some interesting audio feed from that bedroom.
Meanwhile, Azrael, trying not to think too hard about what is happening on the other side of the wall, walks around the party. He meets a strange, fat, bald man in a red wife beater shirt who introduces himself as Mark Zero. He explains he is the leader of Mercenaries without Borders and hands Azrael his card.
Buckshot, to his relief, leaves Calon Arang, however, his luck does not change and he runs into his nemesis Tammara Bachman. Bachman does her "And I will get you next time Gadget!" speech at Buckshot and that's pretty much it.
Myco goes to the spot the mysterious call told him to meet up and Myco does see someone there, yet the person waiting there is soon taken by two rough looking men through a window. Coming in from the same, comes a man later to be revealed as the same Mark Zero Azrael met. Mark Zero places a note in the room and leaves. Myco takes a look at the note which reads, "I know who you are. I know you are here. Don't cross me." Using his memory magic powers, Myco gets a horrible psychic impression of something demonic in Mark Zero.
Azrael and Myco, as they travel in the party, notice a strange looking, old Chinese man wandering around but do not interact with him.
Azrael also comes across Chang-Shik, the self-appointed rival of Azrael. However, it seems it turns out Moo-Melong, a woman who Azrael left for dead, is a Mudang, or Korean shammaness has mind controlled Chang-Shik, and is now out for Azrael's blood. Azrael is unphased as ever, saying to her to try her best or words to that effect.
Eventually, they all meet up with Gatsby who gives them the mission to rough up and intimidate a guy giving him trouble named Gossamer.
They go to Gossamer's apartment, only to discover that Gossamer is another Gatsby!
And that is where we ended the session.
